over the last 2 years i’ve been working on a set of remixes in collaboration with Chet Baker’s estate. a decade before his death, chet recorded a live album in montreal titled “Love For Sale (Live at The Rising Sun Celebrity Jazz Club) [1978]” this is a lesser known album compared to his classics such as “Chet Baker Sings” and many people dont know that those were some of his most moving and intense performances! the beloved Jazz Club burnt down a few years after he recorded along with dozens of priceless recordings, but by some miracle, this record was saved. it was found stored in an old defunct freezer! now this album has been shared with me to remix. The remixes and live versions of these remixes from my first ever live show are on this 12".
